Rodney Diggens

Born: 2nd August 1937, Dulwich, South London.

Studied: Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts.

After a varied career in Advertising and Printing, became a fulltime Artist/Illustrator following the demise of printing as a craft Industry due to the arrival of those dreaded, 'Electronic Devices' including the Helio Klishograph.

Has had a keen interest in all things Motoring since spectating at the British Grand Prix in 1953. Raced saloon cars during the 1950s and 60s. Has exhibited widely and was a founder member of the Guild of Motoring Artists. Resigned as a long-time member of the Guild of Aviation Artists (44 years) to take a more leisurely approach to painting and to life in general.
